Jacob Talpos, CPA - Founder/CEO, QuickBooks® ProAdvisor

Jacob is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and founder of Talpos & Associates, Ltd. Jacob founded the firm in 2009 and his vision was to create a Modern Accounting Firm that provides clients with the highest level of client service and professional support, using an advanced technological infrastructure. Clients always have convenient and real-time access to their financial documents and to staff. We strive to create the best possible experience and to ensure our clients stay on a healthy financial path.

Jacob specializes in providing strategic tax and financial advisory services to small to mid-sized businesses and high net worth individuals. He specializes in tax preparation for corporations, partnerships, individuals and trusts. Jacob also has extensive experience in different areas of accounting such as auditing, payroll, and bookkeeping. Jacob is also a desktop and online certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Jacob graduated from Oregon State University with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Accountancy and Finance and a minor in Communications. He is also a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and the ICPAS (Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society).

Jacob and his family reside in Illinois and he loves spending time with his wife Rosanna and their three children, Isaiah, Ezekiel and Eden.  Away from the office, Jacob is heavily involved as a brass band Music Director and volunteer trumpet player at his local church. In his spare time, he also loves to travel and play basketball.
